2016

A successful Goanna Pulling Championships were held on Sunday October 2nd at the Wooli Sports Ground.  The weather was superb ALL DAY, with many competitors lining up to take part in the Goanna Pulling, Wood Chops & Novelty Races.  A Fun filled family day was had by all for all ages and prizes, trophies and prize money in excess of $5,600.00 handed out.


Live Music by Dom Ferry, Australian Reptile Display, Old Mc Donald Farm, Amusement rides and Market Stalls with Lucky Door Prizes which entertained the crowds in excess of 2500.

 

The Wooli Sports Club Committee would like to thank our major Sponsors Clarence Valley Council and @ realty together with all the wonderful sponsors and supporters who provided Prize money and prizes, without which we would be unable to continue this unique Australian Event.
